Maze escape puzzle

Random Maze Escape

What is Random Maze Escape?

Random Maze Escape generates a fresh maze each run and asks you to find your way from start to exit. Because the maze isn’t fixed, a memorized path won’t work — you read the layout anew each time. It runs in the browser with no install: arrow keys on desktop, on-screen controls on mobile.

The rule is “find the exit,” but skill is finding an efficient route without wasting time in dead ends.

How to play

  1. Move your character from the start (arrows / on-screen).
  2. Follow open paths toward the exit.
  3. Back out of dead ends and try other branches.
  4. Reach the exit to escape; a new maze awaits.

Tips to escape faster

  • Wall-follow (right-hand rule) — keep one hand on the same wall; most mazes lead to the exit.
  • Remember dead ends — don’t re-enter confirmed dead branches.
  • Head toward the exit — pick the branch roughly toward it first.
  • Look ahead — read the path flow, not just the next cell.

Why random mazes are fun

Since the maze regenerates, clearing one doesn’t make the next easier — but your route-reading sense grows, so you hit fewer dead ends over time. Great for spatial awareness.
