Space Typing Practice

Space Voyage

What is Space Typing Practice?

Space Voyage is a typing-learning game where you warp by typing the names of celestial bodies — from solar-system planets to distant galaxies — and draw constellations by typing star names in order. Instead of place names, you handle astronomy names, so you practice typing and pick up planet, galaxy, and constellation knowledge. Star positions follow real sky coordinates. It runs in the browser with no install, in Korean and English.

Each name warps you there or completes a constellation, so planet order and constellation names naturally stick — great for space-loving kids’ typing and astronomy.

How to play

  1. A body to travel to (planet, galaxy) is shown.
  2. Type its name accurately to warp.
  3. In constellation mode, type star names in order to draw it.
  4. Widen from solar-system planets to farther bodies.

How to use it

  • Astronomy basics — learn planet order and names by typing.
  • Typing practice — interesting names keep it fun.
  • Kids’ learning — typing plus science for space fans.

Learn as you travel

Focus on accurate typing, then note what each body is (planet or galaxy, which constellation). Start with familiar planets and widen outward to grow astronomy knowledge painlessly.

Practise astronomy names rather than navigate a 3D simulator

This is a typing game: enter a celestial name, then check whether it describes a planet, galaxy or star. In constellation mode, type star names in order to complete the figure. Visit SIDEREAL if you want 3D maps, size comparisons and observation images instead.

Frequently asked questions

Real star positions?

Yes — real sky coordinates.

Draw constellations?

Yes — type star names in order.

Mobile-friendly?

Adapts to phones, but a keyboard (PC/tablet) is best.

Is this the same experience as SIDEREAL?

No. This page practises typing astronomy names; SIDEREAL offers 3D navigation, size comparisons and observation images.

How do I complete a constellation?

Type the star names in sequence in constellation mode. Star placement follows real right-ascension and declination coordinates.

Which device is best for typing practice?

The layout adapts to mobile, but a desktop or tablet with a physical keyboard is more comfortable. Korean and English input are supported.
