Cosmic drop & merge puzzle

Planet Merge

What is Planet Merge?

Planet Merge is a free physics puzzle where two identical cosmic objects collide and become the next, bigger one. Like other drop-and-merge games, every drop rolls and stacks like a real ball, but instead of fruit you grow the universe through eleven stages: Stardust → Meteor → Asteroid → Moon → Earth → Neptune → Saturn → Jupiter → Sun → Galaxy → Black hole. It runs right in your browser on PC and mobile, with no install or sign-up.

The ultimate goal is to merge two 2048-point black holes into a supernova. The blast clears the small bodies around it, frees up space and adds a big bonus, so the run keeps going.

How to play

  1. Check the next object in the NEXT box and on the launcher at the top.
  2. On PC, move the mouse and click. On mobile, hold your finger down, slide to aim and release to drop. Arrow keys and Space work too.
  3. The dotted guide and the ring on the floor show where the object will land.
  4. Matching objects that touch merge into the next stage and score points. Merge again within 1.75 seconds for a combo multiplier (up to ×9).
  5. If anything stays above the danger line for about three seconds, the run ends. Enter a nickname and submit your score to the leaderboard.

Points per object

Stardust 2, Meteor 4, Asteroid 8, Moon 16, Earth 32, Neptune 64, Saturn 128, Jupiter 256, Sun 512, Galaxy 1024, Black hole 2048. Each new object adds its value times your combo; a supernova gives 4096 plus a bonus for every object it clears.

Tips for a higher score

  • Park big objects in one corner — a big planet in the middle strands the small ones. Stack big ones against a wall and merge small ones on the other side.
  • Line them up by size — Jupiter next to Saturn next to Neptune turns one merge into a chain and builds your combo.
  • Plan two drops ahead — think about where the current and the next object will go to avoid useless gaps.
  • Keep the top small — when the board fills up, merge small objects first instead of lifting big ones toward the danger line.

How is it different from Fruit Merge?

The drop-and-merge rule is the same, but Planet Merge runs through eleven cosmic stages and ends each cycle with a supernova that clears the board, so long runs score far higher. On wide screens the evolution ladder (with your best object) sits on the left and the current and next objects on the right. MEINPLAY’s Fruit Merge is a 2048-style 4×4 slider if you want a different kind of merge.

FAQ

Is Planet Merge free?

Yes. It’s free to play in your browser with no install, account or payment.

What is the final stage?

The black hole is the largest object. Merging two black holes sets off a supernova that clears nearby objects, and the game continues so you can keep chasing a higher score.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Hold, slide to aim and release to drop. The board adapts to your screen shape.

How do I get on the leaderboard?

Type a nickname on the start screen and press Submit score after the run. Each device keeps one best score in the Top 10.

Is it just luck?

The next object is random, but where you place it decides your chains and combos, so skill makes a big difference.
